Acupuncture and reflexology in the quiet fishing town of Staithes.
After nearly 30 years of living in the South of England Caroline moved back to North Yorkshire, to the timelessness and magic of the fishing village of Staithes. At a time of change in her life, she was attracted to the big skies, vast beauty and rugged coastline of the North York Moors.
Caroline trained as a reflexologist in 1997, working in spa’s and clinics in London and the South-East. Fascinated by Chinese medicine and benefiting from acupuncture treatment and Chinese herbs over the years, she turned her attention to the East, graduating from the London College of Traditional Acupuncture in 2011.
Now a member of the British Acupuncture Council (MBAcC), Caroline combines both her skills and experience working with a wide range of conditions using acupuncture treatment in reducing pain, lowering stress, improving fertility and boosting your sense of wellbeing.
Reflexology is a wonderful way to relax and is beneficial for rebalancing the mind, body & spirit. She is particularly interested in understanding the root cause of illness, using diet and lifestyle assessment where appropriate.
Caroline offers individual retreats at the cottage. Tailored for whatever you need. A B&B escape as a stand alone, so you can make the most of the cottage, beach and surrounding area, or you can chose to have treatments when you’re there too.
If it’s a place to simply sit and be. To gain perspective. To rest and recuperate, in a home from home, then head to Staithes and give Caroline a call.
