Christmas Charity Cookalong

Join Food and Wellbeing Coach Carey, BodyHIIT founder Pieta and Soulhub for an afternoon cook along.

Each Monday through to Christmas at 1.30pm you can come cook up your Festive dishes on the livestream with us:

7 Dec – Nut Roast & 14 Dec – Roast Potatoes & Gravy

21 Dec – Banoffee Pie

Ingredients from Carey’s ‘12 Steps to Healthier Family Food‘ book (Great Xmas present too)

Make nut butter on Saturday or Sunday before Monday…


  • 400g almonds
  • 75ml organic extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground rock salt
  • 2-4 large tablespoons coconut nectar or coconut sugar
  • 1 large tablespoon raw cacao (optional)


  • Spread almonds on large baking tray, drizzle with oil and salt
  • Roast in preheated oven at 180 (shake in between) for 20 mins
  • Transfer to food processor or blender and add tablespoon of coconut butter and coconut nectar/ sugar
  • Blend in mixture
  • Can add in cacao
  • Transfer into sealed container

Banoffee Tart


  • 300 g mixed nuts (or almond)
  • 50 g coconut chips
  • 4 organic oat biscuits or 60g oats
  • 30 Medjool dates, pitted
  • 30g vegan butter
  • Dash of coconut water
  • 3 small tins of coconut cream, refrigerated overnight
  • 2 large tablespoons unrefined icing sugar
  • 1 vanilla pod (optional)
  • Spinkle of rock salt (optional)
  • Cacao nibs, cacao powder (optional)
