Can you help complementary medicine research?

Our Soulhub member, EFT Practitioner and Trainer Bettina Falkenberg, has been invited to take part in and international academic research project investigating the effectiveness of Combined Somatic and Cognitive Therapies (often termed energy psychology techniques). The research is a collaboration between Bond University in Australia and The Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology in the United States.

Complementary Therapies such as EFT are still viewed with much scepticism by the medical establishment, although there is more and more evidence of improved outcomes for patients who are offered a treatment plan integrating complementary therapies with traditional medicine.

Bettina is initially looking to enrol 6 participants who struggle with one of the following:

  • anxiety/stress
  • depression
  • trauma/PTSD
  • somatic complaints
  • chronic pain
  • addictive issues

Participants should not have had EFT for these issues before and cannot be receiving other therapies while enrolled in the study (likely to be 6 sessions).

The cost for enrolling one participant is £500 (total cost of the initial intake £3000) and since funding for research is always scarce unless a pharmacological company is involved, Bettina is looking for sponsors to support this important work.

Can you help by sponsoring a participant to receive potentially life-changing therapy? Perhaps you are interested in participating yourself or you may have a loved one who might benefit.

To discuss, please email Bettina on bettina@taptoflow.com or call her on 00447913342533.
